Major Types of Fibers (Not Hairs)

There are two types of fibers: synthetic (man-made) and natural (from plants/ naturally made)
Some synthetic fibers are:
Polyester
Nylon
Acrylic
Kevlar

Acetate

Some natural fibers are:
Bamboo
Spider silk
Animal hairs made into fibers (Wool, Angora, etc)
Flax
Cotton

These are all used for a variety of things, such as making wigs, ropes, clothing, and even bulletproof vests.
